Among other chamber music partners are Fabrice Pierre, Pierre-Henri Xuereb and Rachel Talitman. She was the founding member of the Ensemble Musica Universalis, and a member of Ensemble Itineraire, Multilaterale, Paris Chamber Orchestra, and the Takemitsu Trio as well as the Xanthos Trio.<br>Aficionada of contemporary music, she has participated in numerous recordings of creation under the labels of Mandala \/ Harmonia Mundi, Aeon and Musicube. Two recordings were recorded under the Label Harp and co. with harpist Rachel Talitman and violist Pierre-Henri Xuereb on the works of F. Kern (&#8220;Frida Kern&#8221;), Austrian composer, and contemporaries of Debussy titled &#8220;Around Debussy &#8220;. Various projects are in progress for 2020-2021, notably at Anima Records and Leitmotiv.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Always in modernity but in a distinctive style, Mihi Kim is currently collaborating with composers Armando Ghidoni, Martin Kutnowski and Guy-Claude Luypaerts. Works have been dedicated to her and she has created them especially at concerts around the globe.In 2017, Mihi Kim launches a preview of a &#8220;Steampunk&#8221; concert in Paris, presenting a whole new genre of music, both classical and modern, driven by electronic media. Warmly welcomed by the Parisian public, the final project will be presented through a series of concerts and events starting in autumn 2020.<br>Since 1998, Mihi Kim has been Professor of Fl\u00fbte in Paris and the Paris region. Nominated Professor at the Ecole Normale de Musique in Paris and professor at the CRD in Issy-les-Moulineaux (92), she has trained more than 200 professionals from France and abroad. She holds the Certificate of Aptitude of Teacher of Musical Education (PEA). Polyglot and cosmopolitan, she speaks 6 languages and gives Masterclass around the world, often in the language of the country. She is international artist of Miyazawa Flutes, Japan since 2003 and plays on a Platinum fl\u00fbte 900\/000 (0.28) Type II Boston Classic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Born in Seoul, South Korea, Mihi Kim studied in France and Germany, at the National Conservatory of Music of Paris, Hochschule of Cologne, Hochschule of M\u00fcnchen with the teachers Alain Marion, Jean-Pierre Rampal, Andras Adorjan, Aur\u00e8le Nicolet, Paul Meisen and Pierre-Yves Artaud. She holds the equivalent of a DAI (Diploma of Performing Artist, Ph.D. in interpretation from the Conservatoire CNSM in Paris) obtained in 1998. She is laureate of the 5th International Competition Jean-Pierre Rampal in Paris and won the 1st Grand Prize at the International Music Competition in Bayreuth, Germany. Prior to venturing into the Western music world, Ms. Lu had graduated from Xi&#8217;an Conservatory of Music in 1982 under Professor Cheng Jiayu. In the same year, she worked as both a soloist and program director in the Xi&#8217;an Song and Dance Ensemble. In 1987, she became a lecturer at the Art Department of Shaanxi Normal University.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In 1992, she furthered her study in Belgium and eventually started to work there. In 1998 she graduated from the Royal Conservatory of Brussels where she also received an advanced diploma in Opera Singing (the highest level diploma in European for singing), and a \u201cPremier Prix\u201d in opera art performance and singing. She was under the tutelage of Mr. J. BASTIN, Mrs. C. ARNAUD, and Mrs. M. Urbain.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During her 24 years of studying, working and living in Belgium, she has worked for both the Royal Opera House of Brussels and the Royal Opera House of Antwerp. She has performed dozens of operas, oratorio, concerts, and has performed as a soloist at many prestigious events such as the European Art Festival, the concert of the Chinese Mission to the European Union, and the concerto of the Chinese Embassy in Belgium. In September 2009, she performed at the &#8220;KLARA&#8221; International Music Festival in Brussels and cooperated with the Hong Kong Chinese Orchestra as a soloist. In October 2009, she participated in the Belgian \u201cEuropean Chinese Art Festival\u201d as a soloist. In 2011, she was specially invited to be the official French \u2013 Chinese translator for the master classes of the Queen Elizabeth International Vocal Competition by the competition organizing committee. In 2014, she performed in the &#8220;100th Anniversary of Chinese Landing in Belgium&#8221; Commemorative Concert as a soloist. In September 2015, upon approval by the State Administration of Foreign Experts Affairs (SAFEA) of China, she was invited by Shaanxi Foreign Affairs Office and the Department of Voice of Xi&#8217;an Conservatory to join the faculty of Conservatory as a special expert and special-appointed distinguished foreign professor. In June 2017, she was head of organization committee for the departmental concert of French vocal music (including an a cappella chorus). In September 2017, she performed as a soloist in the first concert of Belgian-Chinese musicians at the concert hall of the Royal Conservatory of Brussels, Belgium. Mr. Hennings has won first prize in several prestigious competitions including the 2008 Aaron Brock International Guitar Competition (Toronto), 2005 Eastman Guitar Concerto Competition, the 2002 Villa de Petrer, Alicante (Spain) International Young Artists Competition, the 2001 Portland International Guitar Competition, among others.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mr. Hennings is an active proponent of new music, particularly that of Latin America, having recently worked with composers Mario Davidovsky, Carlos Sanchez-Gutierrez, Juan Trigos and Ricardo Zohn-Muldoon. Mr. Hennings has recently premiered works by composers Jake Bancks, Wes Matthews, John Aylward, Beth Wiemann, Hebert Vazquez, Luca Cori, Juan Trigos and Scott Worthington and many more. Hennings has received grants from the Howard Hanson Institute for American Music, the Fondo Nacional para la Cultura y las Artes (M\u00e9xico) and the Fondo Estatal para la Cultura y las Artes (Sonora, M\u00e9xico) to commission and premiere contemporary works for guitar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Recent engagements include concerts with pop-singer Natalie Merchant and baroque violinist Monica Huggett as well as appearances at the Mexican Embassy in Rome, Festival SpazioMusica of Cagliari, Conservatorio de las Rosas in Morelia, Mexico, University of Chicago, Festival Internacional de Chihuahua, New York\u2019s Joyce Theater, Julliard\u2019s Paul Hall, and New England Conservatory. Eliane promoted on to the Hochschule der K\u00fcnste in Berlin, to the Mozarteum in Salzburg with Hans Leygraf, the Lemmensinstituut with Alan Weiss and there after to the Conservatoire National Sup\u00e9rieur de Musique in Paris under the aegis of Michel Beroff, Brigitte Engerer, Hans Leygraf and Jacques Rouvier. Ensuing her studies, she was appointed professor of complementary piano at the Conservatoire National Sup\u00e9rieur de Musique in Paris.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the spectrum of international competitions, Eliane has won innumerable awards including 1st prize in Ettlingen, Germany and 1st prize at the Cervantes International Piano Competition in Cuba. Finalist at the Montreal International Musical Competition, the Clara Schumann International Piano Competition in D\u00fcsseldorf, where she was equally rewarded for chamber music, and at the Maria Canals International Music Competition, to mention but a few. Eliane Reyes devotes herself to a career as a recitalist, soloist and chamber musician to the unanimous acclaim of the international press and audiences.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Through her numerous performances, she has attained the absolute support of the Rheinold Bl\u00fcthner, Nany Philippart, Spes, Solti and Vocatio Foundations. Amongst artists such as Martha Argerich or Vladimir Ashkenazy, Eliane has had the opportunity to be invited to give recitals and to perform alongside Augustin Dumay, Ivry Gitlis, Misha Maisky and Jos\u00e9 van Dam.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Her discography consists of works by Nicolas Bacri, F. Chopin, C. Debussy, Benjamin Godard, F. Liszt, Michel Lysight, D. Milhaud, M. Ravel, A. Since then, she has performed widely throughout the United States, Europe, and China and has given recitals in venues such as the Kennedy Performing Arts Center in Washington D.C. and the National Performing Arts Center in Beijing.&nbsp; She has collaborated with Eugenia Zukerman, Bin Huang, and Hyun-Su Shin, among many others. Pianist&nbsp;George Sandor described her&nbsp;as playing &#8220;with superb sensitivity&nbsp;and technique&#8221;. Dr. Zhang&#8217;s&nbsp;solo album containing works of Haydn and Schumann was released by Shanghai Music Publishing House.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dr. Zhang was the chief editor of the Shanghai Piano Exam Anthology with distribution of more than 60000 copies. She has published numerous journal articles and given lectures on the subjects of music analysis and piano pedagogy. Dr. Zhang has been a visiting professor at Shanghai Conservatory and has served as faculty at the Global Summer Institute of Music at Virginia Commonwealth University, the Shanghai International Piano Institute, and the Silk Road International Piano Summer Institute.&nbsp;Many of Dr. Zhang\u2019s students have won top prizes at international piano competitions, including 1st prize at both the Vienna International Piano Competition and Shanghai International Piano Competition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A prizewinner of multiple competitions, Dr. Zhang received the top prize at the Boca Piano Competition and second prize at the Bartok-Kabalevsky-Prokofiev International Piano Competition. Her playing combines the powerful background of the Ukrainian system with a passionate exploration of lesser played music, especially American and Ukrainian.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>She has appeared as soloist and as chamber musician at concerts and festivals in Australia, New Zealand, Germany, France, Italy, Czech Republic, Ukraine, USA, Canada, China, Korea, and Taiwan. She is praised for being \u201ca truly wonderful musician\u201d (The Press, Christchurch, New Zealand), her \u201ctechnical mastery&#8230;ferocity, light and mystic lyricism\u201d (Daily Freeman, New York), and as one who \u201cplays with great warmth and authority\u201d (BBC Music Magazine). She has performed with orchestras in Ukraine, Australia, and the United States.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ms. Soroka has performed premieres of a number of important contemporary Ukrainian compositions for violin, including works by Borys Lyatoshynsky, Myroslav Skoryk and Yevhen Stankovych.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Since her U.S. debut in 1997, she has performed throughout the United States. Her recitals in Washington DC were part of the Smithsonian Institute performing arts series and she received the following review in the Washington Post:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cSoroka is a superbly equipped violinist, at ease with the technical challenges<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>of Sarasate or of Jeno Hubay\u2019s Czardas No. 2, but even more impressive in the gentler moments&#8230;. Her tone is warm and mellow on the low strings, brilliant on the high strings, perfectly controlled and expressively used.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Solomia Soroka has toured and recorded extensively with her husband, the pianist Arthur Greene. Their Naxos recording of Four Violin Sonatas by William Bolcom was selected as Recording of the Month with the highest ranking for both artistry and sound quality by Classics Today, and received reviews in various distinguished journals:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cAnother virtuoso piece&#8230;confidently delivered by this brilliant duo\u201d (Gramophone)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Their recording of the violin sonatas of Nikolai Roslavets, also for Naxos, has received international attention. \u201cSoroka seemed utterly confident, catching a haunting, languid quality within Roslavets\u2019s elusive harmonic idiom&#8230;&#8230;\u201d (The Strad)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the past eight years Soroka has been recording for Toccata Records, based in London, where she made six premier recordings, of music by American composer Arthur Hartmann, Ukrainian Myroslav Skoryk, Mykola Lysenko, and Yevhen Stankovych, and Holocaust composers Leone Sinigaglia and Bernhard Sekles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ms. Soroka\u2019s current passion is for unknown American music from the late 19th century to the beginning of the 20th. She has gathered a substantial collection of rare scores of American sonatas from that period by lesser-known American composers, and is in a process of recording and releasing them online. She will tour US universities with lecture-recitals introducing this unknown music to American students, academia and a general audience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Solomia Soroka is currently a violin professor at Goshen College, Indiana, and is on the faculty of Music Fest in Perugia, Italy. The book is the collection of 21+3 forgotten operas, that she performed and recovered, through iconographic, textual and musicological documentation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>She was awarded with the V edition of &#8220;Premio Donizetti&#8221; from the city of Bergamo, and she was honored with &#8220;Premio Euterpe&#8221; by Accademia delle Muse of Florence, &#8220;Platinum&#8221; by Accademie Lyrique de Paris, &#8220;Premio Alfieri&#8221; by Fondazione Alfieri, and other awards such as &#8220;Siola d&#8217;Oro&#8221;, &#8220;Citt\u00e0 di Varese&#8221;, &#8220;Citt\u00e0 di Modena&#8221;, &#8220;Giuseppina Strepponi&#8221;, &#8220;Gigli&#8221;, and &#8220;Mascagni d&#8217;Oro&#8221;.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In 2005, she found in Italy the cultural association &#8220;Ab Harmoniae Onlus &#8211; musica per la solideriet\u00e0&#8221;, in 2008, she established the association also in Nizza, France and in 2009 in Montecarlo, Monaco. Thanks to the three associations, and in collaboration with Lombardia Region, City of Bergamo, City of Florence, Vicariato of Rome, City of Nice, Principality of Monaco, City of Milan, Episcopal Conference of Brazil, and Cariplo Foundation, she produced over 300 concert, managing artistic and organizational aspect too, for national and international production.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>She recorded her album with Universal, Ricordi, Fonit Cetra, Ariston, Nuova Era, Bongiovanni, Kikko Music, Koch Schwann, West Deutsche Runfunk, Agora, OsterreicheRundfunk, SABC, Actes Sud.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In collaboration with&nbsp; French Justice Ministry, she organized educational musical activities for the french detainee.
