Possible Course and Activity Offerings
+ One-on-one piano lessons by faculty-in-residence (GSIM will usually arrange lessons with more than two faculty)
+ Featured guest artist events and opportunity to be selected to perform solo or chamber at master classes
+ Chamber collaboration with fellow instrumentalists or vocalists coached by one or more of our GSIM faculty
+ Workshops and lectures given by faculty and guest artists on topics such as piano literature, techniques, composers, performance anxiety, performance wellness, 20th-century compositions & analysis, etc.
+ Improvisation intensive in both classical and jazz styles
+ Opportunity to attend composition or conducting classes
+ Opportunity to work with a fellow composition participants or faculty on a newly composed piece
+ Opportunity to perform solo or chamber music at one of GSIM’s participants’ concerts
+ GSIM Concerto Competition (one movement of selected concerti required) of which winners will perform with GSIM Festival Orchestra at the final Gala concert
