Prof. Xiao Wu
1993-2002 Studying at the Primary and Middle School of Shanghai Conservatory of Music,
In 2002, graduated from the Middle school of Shanghai Conservatory of Music, admitted to both Department of Piano of Shanghai Conservatory of Music and the Ecole Normale de Paris. Chose to study under Marian Rybicki, famous French Piano Pedagogue.
In 2004, graduated from the Ecole Normale de Paris as a distinguished student and started pursuing for the Master Degree in Chamber Music.
In 2005, admitted to Conservatoire Regional de Rueil-Malmaison in Paris, France as a candidate for Master Degree in Piano Performance guided by French Pedagogue Chantl Raou.
During 2002 and 2006, performed at concerts in Europe, awarded several international competition prizes and praised as “ One of the Most Talented Young Pianist from the East” by France Media.
In June 2007, appointed as artistic tutor by Department of Music Drama of Shanghai Conservatory of Music.
In November, 2007, give solo Piano Concerts and double Piano Concerts in Jiangsu Province and Zhejiang Province and received good response.
In May, 2008, organized solo Piano Concerts in Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand and guided the students to give music drama performance.
In September, 2008, gave a double Piano lecture at the music hall of Shagnhai.
In August, 2009, appointed as piano teacher by the Central Conservatory of Music Piano Academy in Gulanyu, Xiamen.
In December, 2009, gave piano concert named Wu Xiao and His Students in Hong Kong and received good responses.
In March, 2012, gave two performances of chamber music in Quanzhou and Xiamen, Fujian Province.
In October, 2013, gave piano concerts in Ningbo and Wenzhou, Zhejiang Province.

In July, 2003, captured 1st Prize at the International Piano Competition in Casablanca, Morocco
In February, 2005, received prize at the Thirteenth Asian Public Piano Competition in Hong Kong
In April, 2006, received the highest honor in New-Generation Pianists Competition
In May, 2006, 1st prize at Duo Piano Music Competition in Bordeaux, France
In May, 2006, ranked the First at the final test for Master of Chamber Music at the Ecole Normale de Paris
In June, 2006, ranked the first at the final test for Master Diploma and received the first prize at.Conservastoire Regional de Rueil-malmaison
During 2007 and 2014, tutored students who were awarded at piano competitions such as Asian (Hong Kong) Public Piano Competition, Steinway Piano Competition, Shenzhen Public Piano Competition, CCTV Piano and violin Competition, Smetana International Piano Competition.
Nominated as “ Excellent Teacher of Piano”since 2009
In November, 2013, awared “the best tutor prize in all-aound China public piano competition of Helen Cup in Shanghai: two students got the first prize of major group A and group B.
In June, 2014, awarded Excellent Teaching Prize at China’s Piano Competition of Secondary Vocational Schools (keyboard group) held by the Ministry of Education of PRC.
Tutored students, among whom some stood out as representative pianists for Fujian and as contestants for piano competition of CCTV
In August, 2014, students received prizes. In September, 2014, student got the fourth prize of the tenth Amadeo International Piano Competition in Germany.
In September, 2014, awarded Excellent Teacher Prize and Vocatioal Education Promotion Prize by the Bureau of Education of Xiamen.
In October, 2014, student got the first prize of The Yangtze River Cup National Piano Competition (group C).
In February 2015, student ranked the second piano competition (group A) for teenagers held by Affiliated Middle School of Shanghai Conservatory of Music and Central Conservatory of Music.
