Chenjun Fan

Chenjun Fan, concert violinist, young Professor of Zhejiang Conservatory.

She is the recipient of several international awards, including the special prize of 6th ‘Andrea Postacchini’  International violin competition in Italy in 2004,  the 1st Prize of Vatelot Rampal violin competition in Paris in 2008, and in 2010, She also received DAAD Prize from German government.

As soloist she played with Frankfurt Radio Orchestra for “Solti” competition, also with Giessener symphony orchestra and Shanxi orchestra etc.

Chenjun has been also invited as guest chamber musician by several music festivals such as Grave music festival in France and Frankische Musiktage in Germany.

She attended the Central Conservatory of music of China, Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Paris with Prof. Sylvie Gazeau, and had her Konzertexamen in Frankfurt university of music and performing arts with Prof Walter Forchert. She has taken part in several master’s courses held by Maxim Vengerov, Prof.Pamela Frank,Victor Danchenko,Ida Haendel and Sylvie Rosenberg.

Giessner Allgemeine described her as “a violinist with accomplished technic and exceptional musicianship.”
