To examine, identify, and analyze various types of evidence and produce written reports of findings. To testify as an
expert witness in court.

The incumbent is required to have:
 a Bachelor of Arts degree, Bachelor of Science degree, or an advanced degree or its equivalent in a biology,
chemistry, or forensic science related area;
 a minimum of three courses covering the subject areas of biochemistry, genetics, molecular biology, and
college course work or training that covers the subject areas of statistics and/or population genetics (per the
FBI Quality Assurance Standards for Forensic DNA Testing Laboratories)

Selected applicants who meet all of the qualifications will be contacted individually to schedule an interview. Selected
applicants must submit to a CVSA, post-offer physical examination and routine drug screen.
