Faculty member cited as expert on braces for adults
Dr. Steven J. Lindauer, professor and chairman of the Department of Orthodontics, lent his expertise to the Richmond Times Dispatch for an article on adults and braces.
Lindauer described the three types of braces and shared that adults seem to adjust better and faster with clear aligners such as Invisalign, citing a 2011 study.
