Kim Isringhausen, chair of the Department of Oral Health Promotion and Community Outreach, was named one of three Service-Learning Faculty Fellows for 2012-2013, announced through the VCU Service-Learning Program Office.

The Service-Learning Faculty Fellows Program cultivates faculty leadership for civic engagement, supports faculty development and increases departmental and campus support for service-learning and civic engagement.

Each fellow is expected to update at least one service-learning course, produce scholarly products related to their service-learning initiatives, and provide formal and informal service-learning training to VCU peers and community partners.

Fellows receive $3,500 for their participation in the program.
