Bring your curiosity for a friendly, all-levels conversation about Andrew Ross Sorkin’s 1929.

We’re reading 1929: Inside the Greatest Crash in Wall Street History—and How It Shattered a Nation.

Andrew Ross Sorkin, founder of The New York Times’ DealBook and co-anchor of CNBC’s “Squawk Box,” revisits the crash through the people who attempted to steer markets and the role of a mostly hands-off government that, while promoted as making investing more accessible, let risky practices spread.

We’ll trade questions and favorite passages and see which lessons still hold up today. All readers welcome.
