Planning for OPT and beyond
International students planning to seek U.S. employment are invited to a special double workshop to prepare for the upcoming Business Career Fairs.
The session includes guidance on planning for Optional Practical Training (OPT) — and how VCU can help — plus a presentation from immigration attorney Emily Sumner on legal presence and pathways after OPT.
This workshop will help international students understand how they can remain fully in compliance with their F-1 visa as they prepare for their post-graduation OPT period and beyond.
