Details: Join us for the 26th Annual International Business Forum where we will discuss Artificial Intelligence in our Globalized Society.
Artificial Intelligence (AI) is changing our world and will continue to change our world in the decades to come. Extreme scenarios range from AI evolving into a benevolent, godlike entity that can heal the sick, extend human life, repair our relationship with the Earth and bring about an era of abundance and beauty, to doomsday scenarios where AI surpasses human capabilities and drive us to extinction.
We have assembled a panel of distinguished thinkers – see brief bios below)) to provide insights into AI. They will address what AI is (and isn’t), its current and future applications, particularly in the business landscape, its implications for the future employment and work dynamics, and the pressing AI-related issues confronting us. Like it or not, your career and livelihood are going to be affected by AI.
Panelists:
– Peter Aiken, PhD, Associate Professor of Information Systems at VCU Business
– Will Melton, Founder and CEO, Xponent21 and Richmond Water
– Nick Serfass, Chief Executive Officer, Richmond Technology Council (rvatech)
– Van Wood, PhD, Professor of International Marketing, Philip Morris Endowed Chair in International Business, and Director of the Center for International Business Advancement (CIBA)
No registration is required.
Reception to follow. Join us for food, drinks and networking with the panelists after the presentation.
