Student of the Year
Connor H. Parsons

An Eagle Scout since 2015 and an active member of the School of Business Undergraduate Programs Committee, Connor has a strong track record of service and is always willing to lend a helping hand both inside and outside the classroom. Connor has also consistently demonstrated a uniquely creative, entrepreneurial mindset. Prior to transferring to VCU, he played an integral role in developing multiple award-winning business plans, including one for a bar inventory management service which took first place in James Madison University’s Jackson-Rainey business plan competition. Furthermore, he has leveraged his extracurricular interests in music to establish a company specializing in concert promotion, which he hopes to focus on developing later this year. After graduation, Connor is planning to dual-enroll in VCU’s Master of Information Systems and Master of Product Innovation programs before embarking on a career in project management or freelance IT consulting.
