Great internship opportunity for those of you that have some base level interface design chops and are looking to learn and grow in this area.  This is brought to you via the Center for the Creative Economy (first floor of the Depot)
 


User Experience / User Interface (UX/UI) Design Internship

Looking for an internship that exposes you to the latest trends in design and technology … AND pays really well? 
Capital One, recently listed in the top 100 companies to work for, is looking for user experience / interface design interns to work on challenging new projects, while earning $30/hr.
You will work alongside other interns and Capital One Technical professionals gaining real-world software development experience. You will learn by doing – building production software serving the financial industry. The ideal candidate is a highly motivated art/design student with experience in user interface design methods and tools, quick to learn new technologies, and able to work and contribute in an Agile team setting.
There are two openings and start dates:
January 2020
May 2020
Candidates are required to commit to 15-20 hours per week. During the Spring and Fall 2020 semesters, most of the work will take place in the Center for the Creative Economy on the VCU campus. During Summer 2020, most of the work will take place on the Capital One West Creek campus.
This internship is eligible for academic credit through the course: CREA 393 Design Ops Internship
