Updated 6\/3\/2025! <\/strong>

The Academic Technologies team has now completed VCU’s Adobe enterprise agreement renewal! Any “Expired Licensing” notices for Adobe Acrobat Pro, Adobe Creative Cloud, and other Adobe software products (see screenshot below) should now be resolved and you should not see this messaging any longer.

As part of this agreement renewal, Adobe has provided new product licenses which are equivalent to existing licenses. VCU accounts are being automatically migrated to these new licenses before Friday, June 6th. If you already have an Adobe software license associated with your VCU email address, your account will transition automatically to a new license. You may receive one or more emails from Adobe which are automatically sent once changes are made to your account. You may also need to sign-out of your VCU Adobe account and sign-in again. <\/strong>For more details about this update and email notifications from Adobe, please visit https:\/\/adobe.vcu.edu\/access-licensing\/change-over<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Adobe has delayed the discontinuation of cloud-based file syncing services which will now be implemented on February 3rd, 2025 for all Enterprise\/Federated customers (including VCU).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With this change, which is not being managed by VCU, any and all<\/strong> synced files stored within Adobe’s Cloud storage platform using a VCU Adobe account (a Federated ID) will be permanently deleted from Adobe’s cloud storage platform. For additional information about this service discontinuation, please visit https:\/\/go.vcu.edu\/adobe\/file-sync<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This means that VCU end-users need to backup and migrate any files stored within Adobe’s Cloud storage platform to another storage medium such as local, network, and\/or Google Drive storage.
